2165cc Twin Port 240HP/2275cc 280HP
SPECIFICATION
Crankcase:
New VW case. The cylinder head studs are replaced with
cromoly ones. The case is opened up for large 90.5mm or
94mm cylinders and coated with silver heat resistant paint.
New bearings, gaskets & seals are fitted plus all cases are
fitted with the late, large oil pickup pipe.
Cylinder Head:
Brand new ported and polished 044 magnum plus cylinder
heads with large 42X37.5 valves fitted. All are tested after
assembly to check for valve/seat seal integrity.
Crankshafts:
New CB forged counterweighted 78.4mm/82mm crankshaft
with HD gland nut. New camshaft drive gears are fitted.
The brass distributor drive gears are re-shaved to mesh
correctly with distributor drive shaft after case half
machining.
Connecting Rods:
New CB Performance H-beam 5.4/5.5in con rods with ARP
bolts.
Camshafts & Valve train:
The engine is fitted with an Engle TCS-20/30 camshaft with
new adjustable cam wheel, new 28mm HD lifters, new
Manton cromoly pushrods and HD rocker shafts.
Barrels & Pistons
New Mahle forged 90.5mm. Compression ratio 8.0:1
Oil Pumps - Coolers:
All engines are fitted with brand new HD 30mm gear Shadek oil pumps and drilled for full flow. Bugpack oil cooler
with fan is fitted with the engines along with an extra deep sump.
Flywheels – clutch:
200mm 12.5lbs lightened OEM flywheel with clutch & pressure plate surfaces reground to O.E. depth. The ring gear is
replaced if required and the dowel pin holes are repaired if required. Or the flywheel is replaced. Fitted with new HD
Kennedy 2100lbs pressure plate with a CB centre force clutch disc and new release bearing.
Distributor:
A new locked 009 distributor with Petronix I electronic ignition is fitted to all engines and the ignition timing is set
during testing.
Turbo-Carburators:
CB Performance turbo injection kit with water injection for the 2275cc/280HP.

А така - каза го! И аз си го мислех, ама щот си мисля, че само моя английски куца - та не се обаждам. Сага, след, като сме поне 2-ма бих помолил Неки, ако иска да е полезен да прави някакви преводи или поне коментар, то техническите данни са ясни, след като чета по темата над 10г., но на мен, обаче на повечето, камо ли начинаещите - едва ли... С подобни информаций, особенно от моя архив мога да задръстя форума, но не го правя защото нямам време да превеждам и пиша всичко, а иначе ми се струва безмисленно...
