Проблема датира в темата от 16 януари.
Моля за информация, при кой какво е положението (без golfer), браузър (версия евентуално)
за мозила специално скрийншот на error console или както се казва на български там ...
Други хора с този проблем да пишат.

Хората от списъка какви антивирусни ползват. В бъговете на мозила има описан случая - хванали са антивирусни и разни секюрити програмчета (не уин фаеруол) да режат и подменят хедъри тъй като следят уеб контента между браузъра и сървъра.

С нод32 законен е ОК.

Мисълта ми е с нея/без нея дали го има проблема. Да се провери всяква брънка по веригата.
Няма нужда от нерви, ще го намерим какво е.

Потребителите с мозила, които се оправят със скрийншоти да "снимат" error console.
И да пратят ЛС, ще им дам мейл адрес на който да пращат.

You get the download window if Firefox doesn't receive a content type of text/html, but application/octet-stream.
Possible causes are using a proxy or security software that changes the header.

I also have this PHP error, I want to add that for example in the same WEB page, some links makes de error appear
and other links in the same webpage doesn't make the error. I have just find this forum, so I will start log which webpages makes this error.
I HAve try FF2.0.13 and FF3.beta5 both make the same error. Also this error have no relation with any new Add-ons add, I Have not change AV rules,
no have install any Web page software. Just Windows M$'s updates and Firefox's updates. I use Windows XP MCE (updated) and I have not install IE7.

So for those of you who are users without access to the server side perhaps clearing your cache, rebooting, opening the page and pressing refresh a couple of times may do something?

I have solved this issue by disable "Web Anti-Virus" in Kaspersky Antivirus.

Solution 1 : Go to Kav Settings -> Web Anti-Virus and uncheck the first options under connectivity

Solution 2 : Go to Kav Settings -> Traffic Monitor -> Port settings and uncheck port 80

Works for me, i hope this help someone

Past few versions of FF (currently using the 2.0.0.14), every now and again I go to click a link and instead of loading the page it tries to download the file - always .php files - and this happens both at home and at work.

It's not limited to one site or server, and is quite sporadic. Sometimes it'll happen every few minutes, sometimes it'll not happen for hours at a time.

Firefox just froze on me, and when it recovered, everything I clicked forced a download and instead of asking me where I want it saving which is what it should do, it just saved it to my desktop. I had about 10 index.php files on my desktop!

I've tried a fresh install and disabling all extensions both to no avail. I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2 at home and at work, alongside Avast anti-virus. Can provide a list of extensions on request.

I didn't have this problem until I changed the character set on one of our websites from ISO 8859-1 to UTF-8 a few days ago. Since that change it happens randomly on that site about once in every 10 to 20 web page accesses. Pages at the same site continue to display normally in IE7.

All pages at that site are generated by PHP. Web-sniffer shows the header Content Type is "text/html; charset=UTF-8" on all pages.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security installed on the PC that is accessing the website. I haven't disabled its "Web Anti-Virus" function yet to find whether that affects the problem.

OMG lots of people having the problem and until now no results?? guess this is what we have to "pay" for opensource. we can't demand mozilla to fix it on time.

btw, my php script only contains: "hello world" equivalent to see if php works with apache
for testing purposes of this problem and firefox wants to download it! Internet Explorer works just fine.

This problem happens only on sites that specify the UTF-8 character set. I changed one of my websites from UTF-8 to ISO 8859-1 and Firefox 2.0.0.14 worked fine. I changed the site back to UTF-8 and Firefox tries to download rather than display web pages.

This problem has persisted for months. Firefox developers obviously are unable or unwilling to correct it, so the only solution I see is to detect website visitors using Firefox and redirect them to downgraded pages that contain only ISO 8859-1 content.

I'm going to lock this thread. If you're having this issue, please try these things:

* Clearing your Firefox cookies and cache (press Ctrl+Shift+Del and select them to be cleared)
* Resetting your Download Actions:
1. Close Firefox
2. Open the Firefox profile folder - see How to find your profile
3. Delete the mimetypes.rdf file
* Checking your Internet security software (this includes antivirus and antispyware programs, firewalls, and more):
o In general, open the program's settings, remove Firefox from its "Allow" list, and then let it redetect Firefox.
o If your program is listed at the Firewalls article here, or at the Firewalls article at MozillaZine, you can get specific instructions for how to properly reconfigure. Follow them carefully.
* Making a new Firefox profile (see Managing profiles). If that works, you can get your bookmarks and passwords into the new profile by following the instructions in the Recovering important data from an old profile article.

Аз съм с "Аваст", уж законен. За "Уйндоуса", също мисля, че е законен. Преди бях с "НОД" и мисля, че тогава нямах проблем. При мен се получи, от както смених "доктора" на компютъра /този, който ми го преинсталира/, а той от своя страна ми смени и антивирусната.
